• Are the 1949 memorial stones on the existing school going to be re-used? - Yes they will be installed at the two entrances you will be able to see from Summer Street.
• Is this school going to be cold? - Not likely. The concrete and brick walls are insulated. There are two huge boilers supplying heated water for radiation.
• How many classrooms? - 1 Pre-Kindergarten, 2 Kindergarten,  2 first grade, 2 second grade, 2 third grade, 2 forth grade, 2 fifth grade, 2 sixth grade which includes a science room. There is also a Project Room, Speech, Special Needs, Music, Art, Gym, and Computer Lab.
• Are the bathrooms farthest away from the Boilers going to have hot water? - Yes, there is re-circulating hot water throughout most of the building. It should only take moment from anywhere to get hot water. Additionally, there is 400 gallon hot water heater supplying the hot water. The average house has 20 - 40 gallon heaters. Also, a water softening system is installed to filter all drinking water.
• Is there a Library? - Yes there is a library and Media Center
• What is the Courtyard for? - The Courtyard, being and outside space, allows for classroom to be in the middle of the building. State laws require that all classrooms have at least one exterior facing side with windows.The Courtyard has two drainage inlets so water and snow can escape.
• What type of roof is there? - From the ground all you will see is shingled roofing on a pitch. However, there are several areas of flat roofing that hold the mechanical rooftop equipment. This roof is covered with a rubber membrane roof system.
• Are we getting all new furniture? The construction budget does not include desks, chairs, carts, Library bookcases, reception desk, Library Check out desk etc. There are cabinets in all of the classrooms.
• I heard there is no paving? Actually there is paving for the busses and cars to get into and out of the grounds. However the parking lots do not have paving under the construction budget.
• Does the Gym have a wood floor? Yes, a maple floor on a floating support system. There are stripes for basketball and volleyball. There are 2 new basketball goals. The two from the old building will be re-used to create half courts.
